Without content, our communication from person to person lacks an important element. However, before this content can reach the person we are talking to, the way we present ourselves, our body language and our personal impact fundamentally determine the extent to which recipients are receptive and open to communication and whether information can be processed at all.

The best wording is therefore of little help if the way we communicate and the effect we have does not reach the person behind the addressee or weakens our own message.

How we are remembered as a person at work and in our private lives through our impact also has a concrete effect on openness and acceptance in subsequent communication after the actual encounter.
The way in which we impact our interlocutors and our ability to include them therefore fundamentally paves the way for the quality of our interactions at work. In this seminar, we want to focus on this impact in order to shape it consciously and congruently with our own personality and professional expertise.

With a focus on practical implementation, participants will learn

  • know the elements of body language and personal impact from the beginning to the end, as well as how to perceive their own communication and impact in order to develop it in alignment with set goals and addressees
  • recognize and assess the effect of non-verbal messages and silent statements, as well as the importance of the interplay between non-verbal, paraverbal and verbal communication for a congruent effect without double messages
  • to find and strengthen their own self-efficacy and self-confidence for the use of their own impact in professional situations and to implement it in practical exercises in order to derive action steps for the transfer into their own practice
  • to include individual design points in communication for the approach of activating teaching and communication as researchers to addressees
  • to communicate expertise, content and personality convincingly in presentations and lectures and to try out non-verbal presentation techniques in order to reach participants and win them over for projects

The second part of the seminar is an online event that picks up on key content, practical experience and implementation questions from participants in order to improve the transfer of implementation into everyday professional life.

Use this seminar to strengthen your personal impact in professional communication and to make interaction with conversation partners valuable.
