The Graduate Academy at Clausthal University of Technology supports onboarding with a coaching programme that newly appointed professors can take advantage of during their first years at TUC. Topics such as finding your role, setting priorities, coping with stress and taking on extensive teaching responsibilities while simultaneously establishing a working group, sometimes under high pressure to perform, or appearing and positioning yourself in academic self-administration and committee work are just a few of the issues that can be addressed in coaching.

If you are interested, please send us your personal details (name, start date, institution and department) in a curriculum vitae and a short letter of motivation stating that you would like to take advantage of the individual coaching. You are free to choose a coach, and costs will initially be covered up to €1,500.
