Using Virtual Whiteboards with IntraActive - Registration for online meetings and courses

Online meetings, digital courses, and virtual teamwork have become an integral part of everyday life at universities and in the workplace. Nevertheless, many formats reach their limits when it comes to engagement, participation, and creativity. Virtual whiteboards are among the most versatile tools for making online collaboration more dynamic and participatory—whether in higher education, meeting facilitation, or team collaboration.

This practice-oriented workshop is designed for instructors, facilitators, team leaders, and anyone who wants to make online settings interactive and engaging. Together, we’ll explore and test ways to use virtual whiteboards (e.g., Conceptboard, Mural, Miro) to increase participation, structure ideas, and collaboratively develop outcomes.

The focus is on:

  • Engaging methods for various online contexts: teaching, meetings, workshops
  • A practical introduction to whiteboard tools
  • Implementing brainstorming sessions, voting, mind maps, group work, or feedback processes on the whiteboard
  • Testing engaging scenarios using your own real-world examples
  • Tips for effective facilitation and motivating digital collaboration

Learning objectives / After the workshop you will be able to:

  • Facilitate and guide engaging methods in an online setting
  • Design online meetings, seminars, or teamwork sessions to be collaborative and creative
  • Actively involve participants and visualize results together

Target: Instructors, facilitators, team leaders, administrative and organizational staff, trainers, and anyone who wants to make their online sessions more dynamic and effective.
