Further information and registration
In this workshop series, you’ll discover how generative AI can support you in planning, assessment, and assignment development in teaching. Each session combines a concise introduction with pedagogical models and theories that are helpful for crafting prompts related to the respective topic. Through prompt demos, a collaborative prompt lab where you can experiment with your own topics, and a brief reflection session with quality checks, you’ll be able to adapt these ideas to your own teaching.
Dates and Topics
- 30.10.2026: Plan courses and sessions using AI
- 27.11.2026: Develop rubrics for competency-based assessments
- 29.01.2027: Develop self-study modules
Additional topics are available on demand, such as case studies, developing problem-based and project-based assignments, and developing exam questions.
Learning Objectives
After the workshop, you will be able to…
- create, test, and adapt purpose-driven prompts for planning, assignments, and case studies to your teaching contexts.
- apply key models in a targeted manner (e.g., Constructive Alignment, Backward Design, Bloom/SOLO; Evidence-Centered Design; PBL/CBL)
- ensure quality with clear evaluation criteria (alignment, cognitive level, transparency/fairness, accessibility/UDL).
- Export assignments and quizzes to common formats (e.g., GIFT/Moodle, LaTeX) and link them to rubrics.
- Thoughtfully communicate the opportunities and limitations of generative AI (bias, copyright, data protection) and use it responsibly.
Notes: This series is designed for collaborative experimentation. Please bring your own teaching topic (module/session), any existing assignments or materials, and access to a generative AI tool (e.g., LibreChat (TUC), Chat-AI (Academic Cloud).
