Further information and registration
In this series of workshops, you will experience how generative AI supports you in planning, task development and case work in teaching. Each session combines a compact impulse with didactic models and theories that are helpful for prompting the respective topic. With prompt demos and a joint prompt lab for trying out your own topics and a short reflection with quality checks, you will be able to adapt the ideas to your own teaching.
Dates and topics
- 08.04.: Planning events with AI
- 29.04.: Developing tasks with AI
- 20.05.: Developing cases for case studies, problem- or project-based teaching
Additional topics are available on demand, e.g. designing rubrics and assessment grids, preparing materials and self-study units with AI, planning examinations/performance assessments.
Learning objectives
After the workshop, you will be able to…
- Create and test purposeful prompts for planning, tasks and cases and adapt them to your teaching contexts.
- Use key models in a targeted manner (e.g. constructive alignment, backward design, Bloom/SOLO; evidence-centred design; PBL/CBL).
- Ensure quality with clear assessment criteria (alignment, cognitive level, transparency/fairness, accessibility/UDL).
- Export tasks and quizzes to common formats (e.g. GIFT/Moodle, LaTeX) and link them to rubrics.
- Communicate the opportunities and limitations of generative AI in a reflective manner (bias, copyright, data protection) and use it responsibly.
Notes: This workshop series is intended for joint experimentation. Please bring your own teaching topic (module/session), any existing tasks/materials, and access to a generative AI tool (e.g. LibreChat (TUC), Chat-AI (Academic Cloud).
