Together with you and your children, we – the Studentenwerk’s canteen and advice centre, as well as the Family Service at Clausthal University of Technology – would like to kick off the Advent season with a biscuit-baking and craft session for young and old alike.

We will also be welcoming the newborn children of Clausthal University of Technology staff and students, and presenting them with a small welcome gift.

We would be delighted to welcome you to the biscuit-baking and craft session on Tuesday 1 December 2026, 3:30 -6:00 p.m. in Mensa (Leibnizstr. 3) of the Studierendenwerk OstNiedersachsen. 
Tea, juices, water and coffee will be provided. Participation is free of charge.

Our traditional baby welcome event will take place as part of the Christmas programme. 
The Vice-President for International Affairs and Equal Opportunities, Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Thomas Ulrich, will welcome you and your child/children on behalf of Clausthal University of Technology and present you with a gift.

If your child was born between November 2025 and October 2026, we would be delighted if you could join us for the baby welcome event. Please register via the registration platform by 24 November 2026 at the latest.
