National and European funding options for personal scientific careers

This seminar presents European and national application options for early career researchers who have already completed their doctorate with regard to their own project management, in particular for financing their own position.


Contents:

  • Requirements for submitting an application
  • Personal planning, setting goals
  • Individual funding (e.g. DFG, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Volkswagen Foundation, EU - Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, etc.)
  • Funding for junior research groups (e.g. DFG, Federal Government, Helmholtz, Fraunhofer, EU - ERC Starting Grant, etc.)
  • Overview of the procedure for preparing and submitting applications (including required signatures)
  • Internal and external advisory services
