The Alumni Management offers students and doctoral candidates contacts to TU Clausthal alumni and event formats where current doctoral candidates and students can exchange ideas with alumni regarding their career planning

As part of the Clausthal Night of the Proms alumni are honored by the Executive Board of Clausthal University of Technology on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of their doctorate. As part of this networking event, the jubilarians will make new professional contacts with consemesters and the university and current doctoral candidates will receive impulses for their further career planning through discussions and short presentations on the topic of "Career with a doctoral hat". The Clausthal Night of the Proms is a joint event organized by Alumni Management, the Graduate Academy and the Doctoral Candidates' Representation at Clausthal University of Technology

On request, the Alumni Management organizes short mentoring sessions or events such as "Students meet Alumni", where alumni act as career advisors.

Since 2014, the Alumni Management alumni management since 2014 "25 Years of Diploma!" has been very successful. Around 150 jubilarians and guests from Germany and abroad regularly take part in the awarding of silver diplomas by the President of the university. A specialist lecture on current research at the TU, a supporting program with company, institute or campus tours, networking and social interaction on the evening before and after the ceremony round off the event.

Alumni strengthen their professional contacts with each other and with their alma mater. Current students and doctoral candidates are invited to get in touch with TUC graduates whose career paths are already established.

The aim of the offers is to transfer knowledge and pass on experience to prospective career starters and junior staff. Students are given the opportunity to learn more about the professional career of an alumna or alumnus of Clausthal University of Technology in order to develop a concrete idea for their own career and the associated decisions.
